I have a few movies still in VOB format (ripped in file mode from dVD) that I am trying to convert to xvid. When it gets to the point of working with the subtitles I get the error listed in the subject. I can click yes for 5 minutes and it never gets anywhere. But when I play the movie using powerdvd or something the subtitles appear fine. Any ideas? Have tried 2.20 and 2.26

Anyone have any clue about this? Still getting this, even with the latest autogk...Same error, bad packet header found.....Am I the only one out there seeing this? It only happens on a couple movies...

Hi!
1) What software and settings did you use to rip the problematic DVD?
2) Did the ripping software generate any error messages? if so, what were they?

File Mode > DVD Decrypter. No errors were generated. I have ripped 100s of DVDs and converted to xVid using AutoGK, but on a few movies this happens when vobsub is trying to get the subtitles (English). Strange.
Are you looking for more specific options?

I used Nero Recode 2 and it worked perfectly...What a great product.
