I'm a newbe at this and I'm trying to learn but I'm having a problem. I'm tring to backup the movie Mobsters & Mormons but everytime the audio and video are out of sync in one 9:04 minute section. In the work director the section giving the problem is section V02000700002003.m2v. I used DVD-decryptor and DVD-fab to rip the movie to my harddrive in file mode. I tryed CCE 2.70 trial and 2.67 both came out the same way. I ran the riped files through DVD-shrink set to no compression then used DVD-Rebuilder 1.05.2 and cce to encode but still the same problem. My question is, is there anyway to get the audio and video back into sync in that one section?

Is that an NTSC disc? If so I'll order it and see if I can repeat it.

Wow... even Amazon doesn't have that one. They list some alternates shipping points -- but when I went there they didn't have it in inventory either.

I think you have to get it at a Deseret Book Store
or http://deseretbook.com/ click on movies

Hollywood Video carries that title. You might try buying it from them.

Just encypt it, and send it as 'material for testing purposes only' to JDOBBS using an 128 bist encryption key, that makes contents accesible.

I don't know if that's legal, it depends on where you are living.

If you encrypt it, it's not generally avialbale.

You can RAR the entire material and send it through www.yousendit.com

I would like to have JDOBBS take a look at a special Multiple Angle disc I have that's nowhere availbale has several 4 MA parts and can't get right, but that's when he has time.

Otherwise send him a sample clip from the problem area and for as long as possible legally (we can use clips no longer than a certain amount of time here legally).

Just take care of the laws, I don't know what can be done, and what cannot be done.

But 'for testing purposes only' or/and encryptiong it, is maybe possible.

If it's deleted afterwards I think it's not a problem.

Just consider JDOBBS a friend and you can take the viewpoint 'watching in private environments' or something like that.

At least, if I have a friend comming here, the law doens't prohibit him to look at a movie with me.....

For private use only... that is.... Not excluding other people from also watching it, as long as it's private use.

(I think I'm gonna move to China, you can copy anything at any time in any way and even sell it without doing something wrong !, I know, a friend of me bought DVD's (original ??) for 0,60$ / piece there, however he is studying Chinese now :D )

I'd rather avoid anything like that. Veering only slightly off the straight and narrow path just leads to problems.

This is what the donations are for... I'll order it.

@dozkid

I've fixed this for v1.06... I was able to repeat it with "Mobsters and Mormans" and now it's ok. This was an odd (and rare) bug... related to another problem I was working also.

In working with the title it looks interesting, I'll have to give it a watch...
