it is not illegal to threat people , by telling them, if they do not pay a "fine", they will be sued to court for illegal downloding.
if someone asks me advise what to do, i would suggest him to fight back the company for blackmailing.
the trick is to sue first , before to be sued.
so if you receive one of these nasty mails, report it to a judge.
