Hi all,

i am using tdeint to deinterlace (duh!) 25fps interlaced source, to 50fps progressive. i have searched & read the readme, and know how to use it, except for the cthresh and mthreshL and mthreshC settings. what's the difference, and how do i know which value to set them at?

i am aware of the 'map' function, but how do i interpret it?

thankyou for your time :)

cthresh (coupled with mi) are only active when tryweave = true.

mthreshl is the main one you'll want to tweak, and mthreshc if there's chroma oddities (this is pretty rare).

lower it to catch more combs and deinterlace more good areas, raise it to let more static stuff through but also miss some combs
