Hey,
My rip of HHG2G worked fine and plays on my pc but if I process it w/ DVD RB-PRO and mount the ISO it doesn't play correctly. All the 'previews' play fine but then I cant get to the menu. I'm going to try again w/ the newest version of rebuilder but could it be how I ripped it? (DVD Decrypter).

make sure you have the default settings on DVD Decryter options... or you can try the latest DVDFab Decrypter.

The rip plays and works fine but my first copy didn't work. Trying again.

Was this a copy protected DVD ????
If yes, this kind of behiaour can be expected.
If not, try DVDSHRINK first and try a copy on RW media. Don't care about quality in this case, but look at menu functionality. Do a FULL BACKUP.
Use the same RIP, to prevent using apples and peers at once.
0) Do the RIP.
1) Was it copy protected ---> report this, doing 2 & 3 is of no use.
2) So same RIP to DVDSHRINK ---> test the RW, does it works ?
3) Same RIP to DVD-RB -----> test the RW, does it works ?

@tange1. As rebuilder copies the menus from the original rip it shouldn't be affecting the navigation on the copy. Has it been pre-processed with anything else, or have you just used decrypter and rebuilder?
You could try using something like the trace function in pgcedit to see where the menu processing stops.
I've done a backup of HHGTTG with rebuilder successfully, but can't remember which version I used.
Good luck, and let us know how you get on.

I did not pre-process it. What I found was that the software player on my PC wont play it. A standalone player plays it just fine.
