The MuxMan-error displayed just started the multiplex is:"Multiplex operation failed.
Propably caused by excessive bitrate"

Hi, how can I resolve this problem ?

This problem happens every time that I try to use Muxman on a DVD encoded using: DIF4U, Scenaid, BatchCCWS, CCE 2.70, Scenarist.
Using Rebuilder+CCE 2.70 instead Muxman works on the same DVD perfectly

Why?
in this case where is difference between Rebuilder and big3? :helpful:

Sounds like you set the max bitrate too high. DVD-RB is pretty conservative about assigning the max bitrate so things like that don't happen.

Hi,

manono is right about the max bitrate comment. There's probably a bitrate spike that's causing muxman to stop muxing. I must say that I never have those problems using the big3 tools though. Are you using a unprocessed/not encoded asset, somewhwere along the way?

Ps: if you have any big3 related problems please post them in the related forum(although in this case it's borderline).

This exact problem has also appeared in the numenu thread.

I have recently done two projects with muxman (both numenu + scenaid ) and had no problems at all.
