change ogg stream information without transcoding

I hope real enthusiast not only celebrating but read forum. Congradulations.
I have small problem during play ogg files on standalone player Pioneer DV-585-AS. Play without problem files made Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20020717 (1.0) and Xiph.Org/Sjeng.Org libVorbis I 20031230 (GTune 3 beta 2), but not play Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20050304. Which difference between this Vorbis encoder? Can I change stream information without transcoding in Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20050304 to old type?

there was no change in the bitstream afaik (so all encoders should produce the same compliant streams), so your player is buggy
