Hi all. I have all 10 seasons of "Friends"'on DVD and would like to convert them all to Xvid files at about 350mb per episode to store on my HTPC.

Basically what I'd like to know is what is the quickest way to get these to xvid format? Any guides? I have used AutoGK but it still seems like an lot of work..

Here is what I have tried so far.. Use DVD Decrypter to rip each episode (PGC) to the HD. Then loaded each PGC Vob into AutoGK and save job for each one. Then I do the encode for all 24 eps. But there is a lot of folder creation and file renaming that has to be done for this to work I find.

Are there any utils out there that would allow me to rip each of the 4 cd's per season to my HD and then mount with say deamon tools and then have a program that would encode each PGC to an Xvid file straight from there?

Basicly I'm trying to save time here as it seems like I have a lot of work ahead of me and it might be easier to just try and download the xvids that someone else has already done the work..

Any help is appreciated..

TIA

If you're looking for something easy to use and that is simple to Queue up jobs... then I'd recommend FairUse Wizard (http://www.fairusewizard.com/). All you have to do is rip your discs to .iso files. So you won't have to do all that individual episode ripping with Decrypter. I would never have known about it, but someone here on Doom9 recommended it to me.
