Hi! I have A movie Whitch audio format is Windows Media Audio V2 and my computer won't play the sound at all because I don't have the codec.
I tried to find it from net and tried also update all codec and filters with Media Player without succes.

So can somebody say how can I get sound working and/or where I can get the right codec.

And Second thing: I plan to convert that audio track to mp3 so others won't have any problems with sound. Is that conversion wortwile and should I do it in Vdub??

Thanks :)

Hi

I had the same problem a while ago.

If you have only divx 4.xx installed, try to uninstall it and install divx 3.11. In my case the audio stream was divx audio although the explorer said that the stream is wma2.

after that you can convert the sound with vdub.

Try installing the NIMO codec pack, I think the right codec for you is in there.
Converting to MP3 is ofcourse possible, but you'll need a higher bitrate with MP3. the audio is probably 64kbps wma, so I suggest you use 96 or maybe even 128 kbps MP3
And FactorM, DivX audio IS wma2...
