Dear Experts,

Nero Record 2 encountered below problems when I use Nero Ditigal Pro 3.1.0.16 to backup few DVDs. By the way, Nero Show Time 2 can play back these DVDs normally always. The version of Nero Record 2 is 2.2.6.17 and Nero ShowTime 2 is 2.0.0.44.

1) Can not find main movie or the length of main movie is only few minutes.
2) The languages listed by Nero Record 2 doesn't match the languages listed by Nero Show Time 2. For example, Nero Show Time can list and play English, French and Chinese tracks, but Nero Record only can list English and Chinese tracks, it can not recognize the French track. By the way, the unrecognized language track isn't in DTS.
3) Can not select recognized language tracks freely for Audio Stream and Sub-Picture Stream. Sometimes, Nero Record cann't select one of non-DTS language tracks. Sometimes, the order of language tracks must be constrained. For example, it's ok if language A is for Audio #1 and language B is for Audio #2. But it does not work if language A is for Audio #2 and language B is for Audio #1.

Could anyone share me your advice to solve these problems?

Thanks a lot

ITea

Unless I'm retard (which I might well be), it's Nero Recode, not Record =)

But then I still don't have a clue as of how to solve your problem ^^
(i'll try asking some simple things just in case :p)

1) for how long haven't you updated your nero installation ?
2) what is your drive region code/your DVD's region code ?
3) are you using any sort of copy protection removal program ?
- If so, try disabling it since it might confuse recode in some way
- If not, maybe you should try one since your DVD could be over-protected and recode is getting mixed up anyway =)

Sorry, it's Nero Recode, not Record. Thanks for your reminder.

1) I'm sure my Nero Recode installation is the latest version according to Nero offical website.
2) I have ripped the DVD to hard disk completely with AnyDVD enabled before recoding using Nero Recode.

Perhaps the naviation structure of those DVD is invalid. So Nero Recode can't work very well on such DVDs. However, Nero Show Time can playback VOB file one by one.
