Hello, guys. I downloaded a Swedish TV broadcast of an Iron Maiden concert in the form of VOB files using bittorrent. In the description of the file, it proclaims to be in PAL format. I can play the DVD files by opening the folder with PowerDVD, but I assume that if I burn the files to a DVD using Nero it wont play on my NTSC DVD players. Is this assumption correct? If it is, how can I convert the VOB files into NTSC before burning them? Thanks in advance...

Hello, guys. I downloaded a Swedish TV broadcast of an Iron Maiden concert in the form of VOB files using bittorrent. You may want to re-read the rules to which you agreed when you registered, particularly 1a and 6, both of which you have broken with your first post.

I'm sorry, I didn't violate rule six, as the DVD I spoke of is not illegally obtained, nor is it copyrighted content.
Now, back to my question.
I found this program called mkvmagic and am using it to do what I think I need to, however its very complicated. I'll post my results.

This section of the forum is for DVD burning. What you are doing has little to do with dvd burning. You are trying to convert pal VOB files to ntsc VOB files. that's more of an authoring problem...
Also, I don't know what swedish law is, but generally downloading TV shows through bit-torrent isn't something we discuss here. I know its not legal in the US, even if the show was broadcast on TV, its still not allowed to download it and transfer the broadcast through the Internet.
