Hi all,
I am using the newest ffdshow Dec 8 2005, and I want to use a filename filter so that whenever I get a movie which is avi and 5 channels (Ac3) it will do a preset of my choice, and when I watch shows recorded with SageTV it will do another.
My problems are:
1. Preset filter by *.avi (or any ext) does not work
2. While Avicodec and Gspot know that the file is AC3,5 channels ffdshow still shows pcm uncompressed stereo 2 channel in the info, so I cannot tell it to use a specific preset for 5 downmix.
is there a fix or a specific version where the filename extension works?
is there a fix or a specific versio where it will recognize AC3?
I am trying to watch the Wedding Crushers - xvid.
in the meantime I changed the filename to contain 5.1 in it so the filter works (*5.1*).
Please help...
