Recently I have started seeing this problem when visiting the forum's main page.
500 Server Error
The following error occurred: [code=HTTP_REQUEST_TOO_LONG] The HTTP request is too long. Contact your system administrator.
Could not open error fileI can go to a particular forum/thread directly, but not the main page.

I need to delete the bbforum_view cookie everytime !

BTW, I use Windows XP SP1.

I get that err msg with the new Firefox when I reload (Ctrl-R) the forum main menu, not when I first pull it up. So I don't use Ctrl-R with that build on that page.

I'm using Firefox 1.5 and I just noticed something. I couldn't bring up the forum menu today - request too large - and I noticed that it's currently only occurring when I use a cookie to remember my forum login. If I clear the forum.doom9.org cookie and then login without "remembering my login" I can get in again.

This login "fix" worked from within the Forum / Site submenu but not when I tried to login while on the main forum menu.
