I have just downloaded and installed the latest build. Thanx Jdobbs.
When I try to download the registration I get:
"Runtime error 424" - Object required.
I've tried several times now?

Hi,
I aslso revieve a wierd message from Reg-RB.
"Failed to load control 'winsock' from MSWINSCK.OCX. Your version of MSWINSCK.OCX may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application".
I'll have a play around and see if I can work this out, but thought I better let you know as well.

hmm got it to work. Though I needed to register the MSWINSCK .OCX that was provided with the DVD-RB 1.0.5.1 pro package. In my case regsvr32 "E:\DVD-RB PRO\MSWINSCK.OCX"
Did this happen because I didnt install to C:\program files\... ?

Strange, I believe I did a complete uninstall of the old version and a full install of the new one.
Will try again tonight.

@eriksen76
I've found and corrected that error... but unfortunately it won't help you much. The error happens when REG-RB is attempting to print the message "It appears this computer is not connected or is blocked by a firewall. Please send SYSID and Address to dvd-rb@dvd-rb.com."
@PeebZ
That file should have been created in the DVD-RB directory when it was installed. Did you use the installer or the ZIP when you set up the new version?

Hi jdobbs,
I used the installer and installed to E:\DVD-RB PRO\.
Indeed MSWINSCK.OCX was created and present in the DVD-RB directory.

PeebZNo. Normally when an Active-X module or speciallized is DLL needed to be used by an application, the O/S will look for it in the EXE file's directory. I'm guessing that you may have had another application that installed an older version of MSWINSCK.OCX in the system32 directory.
