Hello people.
I decided to start a new topic here, since I dont like to hijack threads.
The thing is, I have a video that I captured from a VHS tape. I used the HYUFF (whatever :)) codec, when I should have used DivX (since I always use it and never get any sync problems). However, the audio is now totally outta sync.
I cant fix the problem by recapturing the video (I dont have the VHS now, so please dont suggest me to recapture :p ).
Ive tried a lot of things...
First, I tried exporting a segment (20 secs out of a 20 mins length video), and its totally outta sync.
Then I tried the "Delay Audio Track" option, since apparently the audio is ahead of the video track by 7 seconds... but unfortunately when using this option, the output video looks in sync with the audio for the first 2-3 seconds, then its goes outta sync again :(
Then I tried exporting the audio to WAV, then with Audacity, exporting the 20 sec segment, then with virtualDub exporting the corresponding video segment (20 secs as well, and technically, when I join them they should be in sync, if you know what I mean), then I joined them, and the same thing as delaying the audio occurs.
Then I read setarip_old's suggestion Here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=751842#post751842) (Part B since thats the only thing I hadnt tried so far), but now I get like a 0 secs video (but its 50 Mb - a 20 secs segment... weird :sly: )
Anyone has suggestions?
Thanks for your time :)
