I'd like to know if it is possible to start 2 encoding jobs parallel in one instance of VDubMod.

I think it can only done one job after each other. Would be good to start 2 threads for 2 parallel jobs so it take full use of my Athlon64 X2 processor.

Currently I get ca. 60-75% load only when converting from mpeg2 -> xvid.

Any suggestions ?

Hi!

Have you tried opening two instances of VirtualDubMOD?

of course I can ;)

But when I have put all my jobs into queue, I can't use the "one" job-list in both instances.

When I start VDMod the 2nd time, the 1st (running) job appears "aborted" and the second can be started.

But what instance get's the 3rd job? Will the other one fail while processing the job list? Many questions...

edit: I've just crashed the 1st instance after I aborted the running job and VDubMob tried to access the next job (currently running in 2nd instance)

If you really, really want this, you could try having two folders with VirtualDubMod so you'll have two joblists. :)
