Actually there was a build on the 10th to.
slightly better trellis - check at least 3 coefficients. 0.05dB better with no measurable speed penalty

In the meantime there were some (minor) changes on cvs (http://cvs.xvid.org/cvs/chora/cvs.php/xvidcore/src?sbt=1&login=2):

bitsream: added a protection flag XVID_SAFE_BS_TAIL for not reading more than 4byte past the end of the input buffer. This is disabled by default (because slow), and 8byte-padding of input buffer should be a prefered solution in case of problem. Please cross-check i didn't break something.
