Hi len0x,

just tested v. 2.25 and found output 291 MB (target size 445 MB). With v. 2.20 everything is ok.

All utils were installed from the installation package (except Avisynth, version 2.5.5 was used). Uninstallation & boot before installation, as recommended.

To be sure, I uninstalled everything and reinstalled the whole package, including Avisynth 2.5.6. No change in the results.

Now 2.20 has been installed back and works perfectly as before. So, Avisynth or XviD installation seems not to be the issue.

The input file was PAL interlaced mpeg (a TV show "recorded" with Hauppauge PVR-150 and commercials removed with TMPG MpegEditor).

Thanks for the great tool

I hate to dredge up an old post but this is happening to me in 2.48b. I was aiming at a 2gb final and end up with a 1.06gb file. I think it may have something to do with the new xvid release I installed (Xvid-1.1.3-28062007 _Final Release) as I never experienced this before I installed the new version.

Here's my log:

I apologize for bumping this old thread prematurely. I have since seen many other threads regarding using different Xvid versions than were included with the GK rip pack. I'm certain that when I roll the codec back things will fix themselves.
