i get this error while demuxing a dvd using PGCDemux..
what could be the problem here?

I believe this happens when some of the pointers inside the vobs are out of wack. Use FixVTS (http://www.videohelp.com/~FixVTS/) and run that on your VTS, in-place and without removing unreferenced material. It will adjust the pointers, and with any luck, PGCDemux will then be able to process it...

ok, thanks mate i will try this..
btw, will this also solve my 'reallocation' problem after i demux->remux->copy only *.VOBs to original DVD (add subs) ?

No, you cannot copy only the new *.VOBs. There are a lot of pointers that will be wrong. Probably FixVTS will fixes all of ones in the IFO, and the method could work if the VTS has only one PGC... But in a more general way, you can use VobBlanker's replace function

thanks jsoto, I didn't quite understand what KittOs was alluding to. Now I get it, and of course, vobblanker is the way to go!
