Since it has been brought up before here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=572942#post572942), I thought I would mention a mockup (http://files.commo.de/md-lite/mdforum/topic-combined.html) that I made recently. It's not the same forum, but I think it is relevant. Anyway, the size of the HTML is around half using semantic designs. This doesn't have any of the nifty JavaScript set up on it though as it is just a mockup for reference to modifications I'm making to another forum software.
