Has anyone had any luck taking one of the new Sony Arccos Movies (like bewitched) and making a divx out of it. I have used AnyDVD, DVDD or DVDFAB to make a copy of it on my hard drive. I can then take this copy and run it through DVD Shrink, Nero Digital or CloneDVD2 and make a DVD out of it. But when I try to make a Divx out of the audio is so far out of sync I can't even figure out where the audio should go.
I have tried Dr1, Dr2, AutoGK, and avi.Net all with the same result.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi!
1) Are you sure that the DVD copies you've made are not out of synch?
2) I used DVDFab Decrypter to rip the Region 1 version of "Bewitched" - and then used MPEG Mediator to make a perfectly synchronized DivX-compressed .AVI

I've only made one file-backup of an ARccOS-protected disk (Madacgascar), which I was quite easily able to realign with NanDub.

I converted Bewitched to Nero Digital AVC using dvddecrypter with no sync issues

@weaver4
BTW, I recall seeing a post at another forum that indicated that, because of the ripping methodology used, there was an initial 71 seconds of dead air - so you may want to try adjusting your .AVI by that amount...

Me too. It appears that Nero Digital does a great job of keeping the audio in sync. So it looks like a DivX problem, maybe a container problem.

They are in sync, watched the DVD copy of Bewitched all the way through.

I have nevers used NanDub; I will give it a try. Do you happen to remember how many ms you delayed the audio by?
