Hi
I'm looking for a tool or guide that removes stuff from DL DVD's but in the same time I want to remove any refferences to the files in IFO's. Like I don't want to see in the IFO 10 subtitles 5 Audio etc., and just to have o the final DVD the main VTS. For example Donnie Brasco DVD main titleset is VTS 6. I just want to see on the final DVD VTS_06_1.ifo, bup and VTS_06_1.vob....to VTS_06_6.vob of course stripped of all the extra stuff.I used Ifoedit, but after stripping vobids, menus etc. , I still have the original info embedded in the IFO. Is it possible to do that?????
I tried to make a new ifo in Ifoedit for the vobs obtained with dvddecrypter and use Ifoupdate, but the menus are gone.

I used before vobblanker, dvdremake, but after blanking the unwanted titles I still have remains of those VTS.
Any thoughts?
Thank you!

Hi!

Sounds like something PGCEdit should be able to resolve for you...

DvdReMake Pro will delete whatever you need.

Sounds like something PGCEdit should be able to resolve for you... could you please explain this process in greater detail? i am sure many forum members will benefit from your experience.

although both Dimad and setarip_old are correct in their responses, in re-reading your question again, i think you may be unealistic in your expectations of what these programs can do.

i am not positive but i believe that a final dvd directory that contains only the modified original menu and the vts you wish to keep may not be spec compliant. apart from the neatness factor, is there any reason you have problem with the blank vts_XX.vob/.ifo/.bup files?

...you could, of course, completely re-author the dvd to remove all those blank files ....

Let's say that my reasons are purely stupid and If I think it through, no reason at all. I can't stand those files on the DVD :)) sounds like I'm eligible for a nuthouse huh?:)). I can't stand those files on the dvd, and I'm really curious IF I CAN MAKE IT! hahaha
