After reading a lot of threads here about NTSC->PAL conversion, i decided that the best way to convert an 5.1 ac3 from NTSC to PAL is to use besweet(with belight) to get 6 mono wavs and then time stretch each wav (i did it with adobe audition) and then reencode to ac3. I am at the part that i have the 6 time stretched wavs, and i want to encode them to a 5.1 ac3. I tried using belight again but after creating a .mux it says that "some input files are not supported yet". Which other program can i use? And if someone suggest a program, please also explain how to do it. Thanks.

Hi

All you need to do is extract the ac3, open besweetGUI
and choose the besweet tab.

Look for the "output" box and choose ac3 from the drop down window,
next to that is boost I recommend checking that aswell.

Now look at the OTA window click "presets" and choose NTSC > PAL

Now go to input file at the top and choose your ac3 file,
next click output and give your new file a name.

Last thing to do is select the AC3 & OGG tab on the right
and make sure the "ac3 encoding option" bitrate is set to
448 if its a 5.1 track.

Now just hit the ac3 to ac3 tab.

Thats it your get a new ac3 file at 25fps :)
