VirtualDub + btwincap Problem [Archive]

Hi all,
I'm having a very strange problem capturing with VirtualDub, in that if I select a resolution higher than 352x288, all I get is a black square, I've tried RGB, YUY2 and UYVY and all yield that result. I have an ATI TV Wonder PCI which I'm using with the btwincap driver. Any ideas whats going on? Should I try using the official ATI driver?

Ah don't worry, I switched it from overlay mode to preview mode and now it's appeared!

I have exactly the same problem - I can't to resolve this problem for long time.

But Preview mode works good for me. For TV viewing I use Dscaler, and for TV grabing I use Virtualdub and ffdshow-VFW-encoder (Huffyuv, MJPEG or XviD profile). For audio - LAME directshow encoder (www.rarewares.org) or simple WAV.
