I recently did a repair install of XP Pro. DVD Shrink no longer has the option to burn an .iso with Decrypter. The only option available is to burn to "hard disk file".I have unistalled rebooted and reinstalled both programs without luck. I have unticked the "burn with nero" box. I can use "folder2Iso" to make an .iso file from the files that Shrink creates that Decrypter can then burn, but I'd rather have the option back to do it all from Shrink.
Do not have nor plan to use Nero.
Any ideas?

Even though when I click on arrow to open the menu options for the "select backup target" there are no options listed I decided to click on the empty space where the option for creating an .iso image and burn with decrypter should be and it worked. I now have the option available to use, so problem solved.

Apparently if you have Windowblinds full version installed, which I do, you may encounter this problem. If you unload Windowblinds, then start DVD Shrink, all the options should be visible.

If Windowsblinds is causing the problem, you can choose "Per Application" from the Settings menu and instruct WB not to skin DVD Shrink. This usually takes care of any conflict between WB and another application.

Thanks for the tip. I just tried it and it works.

What a coincidence. I just installed Style XP this week and now am having the same problem; Shrink can't launch Decrypter to burn...
Hmm. I think I'll try uninstalling Style XP and see if this is it. Thanks---

Having returned the OS back to plain original XP Theme, Shrink launched Decrypter and burned as it used to. :goodpost:

I think you can choose to disable Style XP from within its inteface without having to uninstall it. This should be enough to restore DVD Shrink to full functionality whenever it's needed.

I have been away for awhile, missed this idea of disabling Style XP. Did you mean chosing the "Default XP theme"?

I don't have it installed so i'm trying to go from memory. But, yes, I think that and there's a disable Styple XP setting as well on one of the dialogs. I'd do both and see what happens.
