Predefined size comes out too small

Hi, I am encoding a file using AutoGK and I have selected a predefined size of 2100MB, but once the file is encoded it is split into 2 files of 700MB and 265MB. Now I seem to remember that it did something similar last time I encoded something. What is happening, and how can I stop it happening again?

I am encoding VOB files ripped from my Linux PC, which has my DVD drive in it, using vobcopy. I created a "VTS_01_0 - Stream Information.txt" file using the output from vStrip. I have however had to 'hide' the title VOB files from AutoGK, VIDEO_TS.VOB and VTS_01_0.VOB, so that they were not encoded at the beginning of the AVI file.

1) Uninstall your current XviD codec and install the latest build. That will usually solve file size issues. If there's no uninstall for XviD, install, uninstall and reinstall the latest version.

2) Don't use a multiple of 700 for your file size output, otherwise AutoGK will automatically split the output to 700 MB files. Use 2099 or 2101, for example.

3) You'll be much happier if you figure out a way to use DVD Decrypter, which you can use in IFO mode.

4) If you're still unable to achieve your predefined file size, click the Advanced Settings button and increase the width. For a 2-hour movie at half-DVD-ROM size like you've selected, I like to maintain the original width of 720, or whatever the cropped output would be.
