Hi.
I have downloaded mp cla 6.4.8.7 and overrrides with Radlight Ogg splitter, Radlight Speex,Theora and Vorbis Decoder. I have a fast pc with xp pro :
Ati rad 9600 pro,1GR and P4 2,8.. buth some dvd mowies is "hanging" somethimes.
I finds out that it is best for me to use VMR7 (rendeless) on directshow and not VMR9, why cant i use VMR9 ? (more hang)
Is there some new video direct show or whatewer i have to download and open in mp cl to get it better ? Somethimes i can`t still on brightness or contrast either even i let my grafic card to "let the application control the video adjustment"
I`m very green and on this so i will be very happy if somone cab give me some adwise here i would be wery happy :)
Ps ! How do i uninnstalled the radlight or others video codecs ? Do i have to reboot in safe mod like it is for the the audiocodec`s operation ?
My ffdshow is ffdshow-20041012. Do ihave to uninnsalled this if i downl a newer one ? What exatly is the ffdshow ? and do i have to overrides it in the player before i van used it or is it automat ? I also have kaza light codecspack innstalled.
I am very sorry to border you with ALL my stupid questions

Thanks for any help anyway !!

If you use vlc (http://www.videolan.org) you dont have to hassle with codecs, it should work out of the box.

The player is completely independent from any codec, direct-show filter, ... , because it has it's own buildin decoder
Just download, install, start the player, play.

Hi Hellworm
I downloaded the vlc as you told me to,buth i couldn`t play ac3 or dts signal on my dvd.I I use S/PDIF output, buth in stereo it`s ok.
Mayby my Creative surroundmixer can do any trouble ? My Creative SB0090 Audigy Platinum Sound Card has also a dig output who i used.
Mediaplayer cl are playing both (ac3 and dts)
Is there anything i must do in the vlc player ?

Don't have much plan about audio.
In vlc you can go to options->audio->output modules
and try different output modules, there are multiple options, dependend on you hardware and drivers.
