should i use cartoon mode with this? or not?

No, you shouldn't.
"Cartoon mode" is intended for real cartoon material. Think of "Tom & Jerry" for example. Stuff that qualifies as 3D animation is a lot more similar to real-world movies and should be treated accordingly.

k i thought so, but wasnt fully sure as the clone wars animation isn't the most impressive hehe :D neways, thanx :goodpost:

Ah, sorry. I just realised I mistook "Clone wars" for "Attack of the Clones". Small wonder because half of this movie was 3D animated stuff anyway.
I've never seen Clone Wars, so don't take my "no" as 100%. Also "cartoon mode" isn't anything like mandatory for cartoons. You can perfectly achieve great results on cartoons without that option.
As always to really check it out, the best method is: do two encodings. One with the option on, the other one with it off, and compare.
