Dear all,

I am using this MPEG4 video encoder to encode the yuv file. The sample configuration file, /demo/example.par, is used and the "RateControl.BitsPerSecond[0]" is set to 1000000 from 50000.

After that I observed the output file size (RateControl.BitsPerSecond[0] = 1000000) is same as the output file size (RateControl.BitsPerSecond[0] = 50000). That's mean the setting doesn't been activated.

If so, how to activate this parameter setting?

Thank you very much

the only mpeg-4 encoder m$ offers is very old and outdated and crap quality. if you arent really forced to use this i would advise you to use a better one

It's Microsofts Final Draft AMendment MPEG-4 Reference Software. Very old. Not of any real use now.

Would you mind suggest any updated MPEG4 encoders which at least support ASP features and with source code?

thank you
