Hi all.
I never had any problem with the various versions of Gordian Knot and DivX5.
Recently, however, I installed DivX6 and, from that moment on, when I execute Compressibility Check I obtain results without any sense.
Here is an example: I've a DVD rip of a movie with a duration of 1 hour and 20 minutes. I want to compress it on a single 700 MB CD with a resolution of 640x254. Well, after executing Compressibility Check the compressibility index is... 124000%
Obviously this is a completely absurd result, but I can't find anything wrong with my settings.
On this and other forums I found some people having the same problem but I didn't find any solution.
Does anybody knows how to solve this problem?

Thx,

girotour

u r using DIVX 6 codec right, use xvid or any other, the result will be OK ..
divx codec has some problems with compressibility check, it encodes OK without any problems .. so just ignore the compressibility and go ahead with encoding
