Pioneer finally answered and I have the solution.

If you have this problem with your DVD burner, just mail me.

All right.

It's a problem with the ASPI layer. I was obliged to install ForceASPI to use an audiograbber. Then I installed NERO. As I said, I was able to burn DVDs but not CDs.

Pioneer reminded me that NERO had its own ASPI layer, maybe in conflict with the ForceASPI one, wich was the case. I deinstalled it and now everything's alright.

I found an audiograbber wich doesn't need an ASPI layer. Now need to test smartripper to know wether it needs it or not...

Thanks, I had already read it.

My problem was I couldn't write CD, R and RW together. It's not the same... Note that I still have some 2x CD-RW I can't use anymore since Nero and the burner A03 don't let me burn at a lower speed ! Rather strange. I also noticed I had no possibility to test bfore burning anymore ! There are still things I don't really understand...

I tested smartripper and I can't use it without installing the adaptec ASPI drivers. Same with DVDdecrypter. It seems I'll have to install the ASPI layer when needed, then uninstall it.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

How is the DVR-A03? How is the software it comes with? Is it easy to copy DVDs for a stand alone player? Thanks

I am looking to get the DVR-A03. Have you noticed any other problems then the ASPI driver conflict? DVD coping works well? Do you have a CDR/RW instaleld at the same time? My setup will be 2x80g, Philips CDR/RW and the DVR-A03, Im wondering if the ASPI will still interfere?I plan to make DVD's of ST, Buffy(for the GF), SG-1, ect tv shows(now to get that HDTV recording card :) )
