Hello all-
What does everybody use to copy a back-up movie. Trying to get some alternatives. Movie was done in DVD shrink, originally. I have been trying DVD decryptor with no luck. I pop the disk in to create an ISO and and it errors out when checking for "RCE protection". It says something like check condition of disk, but I've tried it on multiple copies and no luck. Also tried Nero and it dosen't like that much either. Thanks!

You could try dragging and dropping your VIDEO_TS folder to your desktop, and burning that with Nero. (This elliminates all programs other than your operating system and your drive, and allows your operating system to copy the file directly off the disk verbatim. Since there should be no encryption on your copy, there shouldn't be any problems.) If it doesn't take, it could be a reading error of some sort. Do you have more than one drive that's capable of reading DVD? If so, another suggestion is simply trying your rip with a different drive -- some are more forgiving than others.

Hi!

The best/simplest solution is to simply make another copy from your original, purchased DVD...

@blutach

Hi!

The link you provided suggests using DVD Decrypter in .ISO mode.

NWAHS000 already stated, "I have been trying DVD decryptor with no luck. I pop the disk in to create an ISO and and it errors out"...
