View Full Version : Bad frames in VOBs after decrypting

OK, here's the deal: I normally decrypted VOBs of this Star Trek episode (which played without bad frames on DVD player), but when previewing vobs in DGIndex, there were 3 bad frames (scrambled picture); DGIndex reported the bad frames as ''motion code error''. It happens always to the same 3 frames if decrypting with DVD Decrypter or SmartRipper (haven't tried other decrypters).
please help, i need to know what's causing this

Apparently, there is an error in the MPEG2 stream. Is this a commercial DVD? If not, and the VOB was made from a capture off air, then apparently there was a dropout.

The DVD is 100% original, bought on www.amazon.co.uk!!
And it works perfectly if played on any DVD Player or in Windows Media Player!! The bad frames appear only after decrypting.

Decrypting tends to be more sensitive to errors than playback. You may just have to live with it.
