I'm useing DVD Decrypter in IFO modes to rip and then Auto GK to compress intp AVI (with XviD). The problem I'm having is ripping my Lost Season-1 that has multiple episodes and when I rip the disk I only get one (the main PGC), so how do I set up DVD Decrypter to get all of the episodes at once?

Switch DVD Decrypter to File mode, then click Edit > Select Main Movie Files + IFOs. Then click Tools > Settings, click the File Mode tab, and under Options change File splitting to None. In most cases with an episodic DVD all the episodes will be ripped into one large file (you will need a NTFS-formatted hard drive). If that doesn't work, read merge a series of .vob (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=102303&highlight=merge+vob).

With all do respect, I didn't mean to affend you or break any rules by posting to two different areas, but i did try your suggetion right away, but it didn't give me the results that I was looking for and i thought maybe I should have put it in Auto GK because that is the main area of focus. The ripping is the preliminary work. So with that, the one way I will have to do it is to rip the episodes into seperate folders to seperate them ( so no files with the same name are over-writen.)

Unless ther is another way, this seems to be the quickest approach.

Thanks.

I may have misunderstood your post - I thought you wanted all the episodes in one file to load at once into AutoGK. I've seen lots of requests lately on how to accomplish that.

So with that, the one way I will have to do it is to rip the episodes into seperate folders to seperate them ( so no files with the same name are over-writen.)

Ripping each episode into its own folder is the only way to do that when using AutoGK.

I know I've seen it somewhere as well, but for the life of me, I can't locate it. I know it can be done, but I just dob't know how. All I want to do is to rip the DVD so I can create a seperate AVI for each episode, which is about 24 total (4 per disk). Any other ideas?

As I said, ripping each episode one at a time, renaming the folder between each episode rip, is the only way to create individual AVI files with AutoGK. If there's something different you are trying to accomplish, please explain in detail what it is.
