audio video not sync

hi
i am useing flaskmpeg 0.594 and when i play the movie
the sound come before the picture (not sync at all),
iam using radium optimized layer 3 codec v.1263
and divx 4.01
what can be wrong?
anoter thing, when iam useing PCM codec the audio and the viedo is
sync
please help...

one possibility is using the wrong framerate for your DVD

You're problem with async compressing sound to mp3 while ripping the movie isn't really new.

sometimes it get's sync, sometimes not. don't ask me why, heard that der was a problem with the frauenhofer mp3-codec.

but you can easyly solve this problem, not to compress the sound to mp3 while ripping! - while ripping get the sync pcm-sound.

after ripping the movie use VirtualDub to convert the pcm-sound to mp3. it's a easy and fine way to get a sync-sound, cause VB knows about the bug and correct it.

and, vb offers you many more features for soundconverting like resample 48 to 44.1.

try to use Avisynth Plug-In 0.28b37 not the older version, it will fix the asynchrony!
