Hello, everyone. The first thing I'd like to say is thanks for all the help and advice posted here.
Now, my problem. The discs I have created using the ifoedit dvd authoring tool have limited forward search capabilities (only 2x) and no backward search at all. Anything other than 2x forward search results in a still frame. Pressing play to attempt a recovery resumes the audio and subpicture streams as normal, but the video stays still. Other than the search problems, the discs work well.
Since I'm new at dvd authoring, I keep things as simple as possible: one title containing one one program containing only one cell. The titles consist of one video stream (duh), one audio stream, and one subpicture stream.
Has anyone else encountered this problem before?
