View Full Version : DVDX Encoding to AVI Takes Too Long - Faster Settings Anyone?

Can someone tell me which of the codecs in dvdx I should use and at what settings to give me the best quality fastest avi rips? The current codecs and settings I've played around with either give me a long encoding time, a useless avi that is over 2 gig and cannot be opened or small, pixelated rips.

I've googled for it extensively and searched the forum.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to the Forum:

Have you taken a look at Doom9's DVDx Guide? (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdx-main.htm)

Thanks for the reply but that guide only shows settings for svcd (mpeg2), there isn't any mention of avi.
