SpuMux failed for unknown reasons!

hi all.
3 questions:
first:
as i never used dvds subtitles before i had the message:
SpuMux failed for unknown reasons!
For details open: "D:\D2S\Subs\SpuMux_log.txt"
from spummux log:
"ERR: Write error No space left on device"
strange that i have the MPlex_Muxed_File00-subbed.mpg with same size as MPlex_Muxed_File00.mpg but maybe is corrupt.
i have now only 5.29Gb free in hd.
i need more free space to do this step?

second:
was checked "don't remove any files" in misc tab when was starting the entire job.
i read the Q&A -DVD2SVCD Official Q&A ...no answers about it:
if "don't remove any files" was not checked,what files are deleted after each step?

last:
now in this finals steps,what files i can delete to get more free space?

3 questions:
first:
i need more free space to do this step?
answering myself and (if) someone have seamless problem:
no,free size was not the problem.
i take lots of files from hd used with the default output folder to another hd installed and using "recover" i re-start from DVD authoring.
just the same with more than 13Gb free space.
(as posted before the MPlex_Muxed_File00-subbed.mpg still in the default output folder,i don't remove the file but maybe he is corrupt.)
than 13GB-4GB(spummux file)= 9Gb free.

after that using "recover" again but was unchecked the option "rip subtitles" trying to by-pass spunmux.
was perfect, see the log with and without spumux step with big free space in hd:

Did you look into spumux log?

About your questions:
unchecking "don't remove any files" does not delete all the files that can be deleted... IIRC , there are some files which are not deleted. So it saves space, but not the maximum. In any case it does not delete the files needed for the next step, so you always can recover the project from the last step. Obviously you cannot recover from previous steps, because the files will not be there.

Did you look into spumux log?oh yes i posted the final line from the (too big)log in my first postfrom spummux log:
"ERR: Write error No space left on device".than i ask about space for this reason and of course,it's not a free size problem.

after choose a new output default folder and re-start D2S again.

yes.this is the resume,you can imagine the big size.

i can't remeber if i read in the past about subps problems in D2S.

this is the first time that i use to encode with dvd subs and got this problem.

i'm waiting any solution from D2S developer,mods or advanced users like you.

Sorry, I have no experience on subs using spumux

I usually remux (with IFOedit and/or Muxman) using the sup format (extracted from the original DVD with pgcDemux).

not to be rude with you or someone else,i'm thinking in my next post here and with fear.
if i post that works with your hints and we know that D2S is using muxman,newbys can think that have some bug in the program.
if your hints don't work,they can thing that in "some" previous step,D2S did something wrong,then have bug somewhere.
my good will is that the developer or mods could help in this problem because i saw new posts with muxman or subs problems.
the central point is not to my problem but the answer to do D2S working perfect just like always did.
as i like too much of D2S,no matter what result i post,if work with your hints or not,the problem remains with the subtitles.thinking in developers,beta testers and lots of people here that help with guides and faqs for long time to turn D2S in one very respectable program.
then... with or without solution,better is don't post the result(i think).
do you know what i mean,i can trust.

another test without use subpictures and D2S did the entire job with different problem.
details using vdubmod and loading:

MPlex_Muxed_File00.mpg = last frame 127086 (1:28:20.545)
miss the end of the movie,the entire credits with this warning:

mplex is giving this issues and not spumux or subtitles.

i apriciate any help because D2S was and still one of the best progs for me and i don't want to abandon.
