Probably no ACM codec for audio stream, can VDub open and play the file.

Evidently you've deleted most or all of your codecs or their registry entries, or whatever it was you said you did in another thread. Perhaps you should stick to one problem at a time instead of posting related problems all over the place.

The easiest and fastest way is to reinstall the codec.

Can you explain how you fixed it? got the same problem. When I want to add black bars to a movie for example, I load the .avs file into QuEnc. However, I also get the message: "failed to suggest compatible pcm format". So I still don't know how to add black bars..
