Well I wonder what happened to codecs like XviD and DivX. Let's ignore the fact that AVC encoding in general is pretty impossible if you want to capture the screen when CPU intensive tasks are running (not to mention QuickTime's implementation being pretty lousy), I guess useability is not one of the criterions for your scores. And a suggestion, remember that old Motion JPEG? It can be very decent for screen capturing with right settings, and implementations like PICVIDEO especially are very easy on the CPU.

Regarding the article's phrasing itself, I suggest you to use far less equivocality and unrelated expressions. Also, I have no idea why or how you managed to mention Saddam Hussein in that article, but you did.

The H.264 incoding isn't done in real time. I created an uncompressed file, using camtasia and then encoded all the other files. I should mention that.

Also in FAQ i mentioned about XVID, I couldn't get it to work. the settings in VirtualDub, didn't make sense to me. the XVid component for quicktime worked but it only sports basic features and didn't want people complaining on why i used quicktime. IF you want you can download the TSCC version and create a XVID version for me. I'll put it up :)

DIVX 6 create bundle didn't had custom setting. I can only use presets. so i didn't do it.

regarding the phrasing, that has been changed. and those conflicting things have been chnaged as well

I will add MotionJPEG, I was under the impression that it can give huge filessizes, cause thats what cameras save videos in, right?

It will be a good idea to add some points on realtime encoding.

Thanks for pointing out the problems, I have not mentioned this review any where else. I want to fix it before i do that and u guys know more about it than me.
