Has anyone tried this ? I have simply placed this file in the HC Encoder folder and then set the path.

So far so good - prepare was fine and now its encoding. I'm not sure how to interprete the fps ( bottom left hand corner ) but am guessing that current fps and average fps of 35 means its working faster ? Using preview and zoom 5 the picture is still clear

It's completely safe to use HC016 testrelease2 with DVD-RB.

- runs more stable
- should be a little bit faster
- quality is a bit better

I've been using this w/RB since it was posted to excellent results--no problems at all here.

Thanks hank for a great encoder. I haven't had any problem with 015 but thought it made sense to upgrade to 016

My Pioneer DVR-433H has problems with movies encoded with HC 0.15. The same movies encoded with HC 0.16 works fine.

I may be wrong but I think Hank mentioned that the motion vectors were not always DVD complient when using HC 0.15.

I have been using HC_15a with no problems. I usually do Movie Only with RB Pro.

So, no one is having any problems with RB and HC016 testrelease2 16-09-2005?

Just want to make sure before I drop it in RB Pro. v1.02

Regards,:)
