both RB-pro 1.01 and 1,02 get stock @ 11.9% encoding. i use the pro with HC and never had a problem until now. this is a episodes dvd. i chose full backup. any ideas of what is happening? thanks.
somehting else that has happened to me recently. when i manually delete second audio(director's comment or whatever that is) i get no audio on the other stuff like extras, i do get audio on the main movie.

If the extras are in the same VTS and you remove the track that is the default audio for them... they will have no sound. Is that what has happened?

@jdobbs. yes i think that's what happened. i just wanted to delete any audio that wasn't the main movie audio. i did the same movie with shrink and it came out ok, in terms of audio. it had only english soundtrack for the main movie and for the extras, no directors comments or/ and second audios. how can i do the same with RB. just want better picture quality(this is a long movie) . thanks jdobbs.

Probably the audio that you deselected in rebuider is not from the movie but from the extras, Normaly you have a 6ch audio for the movie and a 2ch for the extras and they are both in the same VTS.
Try selecting both audio.

@felipe. yes i believe you and jdobbs are saying the same thing and you are right. i'll do it again and leave that audio alone.

What region disc are you trying to backup? What version of HC? Have you tried it with another encoder to see if the problem is there or with RB/DGDecode? Is there anything special about the segment it is getting stuck on? More information would be really nice.

@Spazzhh. i'm not experienced enough to give the info. other members are able to post/give. all i can tell you is the following: L word season 2 disc1/region1/full backup/rebuilder-pro/HC. i tried it with the two latest versions of RB with the same result(11.9% encode and stop) . i have never had any issues with this setup, i can only tell you that this is the first time i try to backup an episodes dvd with RB. thank 4 your help Spazzhh.

I'm not sure this is even related... but you don't have "steal space from extras" selected, do you? That's something you really have to watch in doing series discs.

Hi!
now guys how about my problem with L word being stock @ 11.9%. any advise on that.
Have you tried ripping the DVD with a different program, such as DVD DEcrypter?
Have you tried cleaning the DVD?
Is the series a SONY Television Production?

no don't have it selected. shuould i or shouldn't i? Definitely not. The way of distinguishing the "feature" from "extras" is the size of the VTS -- in a series disc the determined "feature" may be only a single episode in the series. The result could be one nicely encoded episode and a bunch of poorly encoded ones.

@setarip. hi
the files are in my hard drive(ripped with decrypter). so it is not a dirty disc problem.
no it is not a sony television production, it is a showtime original production. thanks.
