Hi!
Have you now tried using the program to re-rip DVDs that it successfully ripped in the past?
1) If they can now be ripped properly then:
It sounds like you're dealing with either damaged/dirty DVDs
2) If they cannot now be ripped properly then:
Your DVD reader/burner might benefit from the use of a DVD/CD cleaning disc. Maxell makes one that retails for approximately $10US
3) If all of the unreadable DVDs happen to be movies by SONY, they probably have the LATEST version of "ARccOS" copy protection - and the program (up to and including v.3.5.40 is unable to directly process it
What are the DVD titles and Region?

I got three movies . The two I tried before I wrote my original post were both Sony. The third wasn't and it decrypts just fine. All were new releases.
All USA region
Is there a way to do the Sony DVD's? Can you just "compress" without decrypting? I have always used both.
Any software that dudes are having success with?
Thanks for the info. I thought my computer took a shit on me.

I got three movies from Netflix.
I'm afraid I can't provide any additional assistance.
if you don't understand why, I'd suggest you RE-read the rules...
