i try tu run cee with rebuild pro,
I dont know how i managed to do that, but this is how far I have been:
I was able to make run the 2 software together but when the cee window open after the prep phase, I have only 1/1 pass , and i set DVD rebuild at 5pass. i would guess to see 1/2, 1/3,....
I am not happy with that, I want 4-5 pass, not one.
OK, then ....I erased all softwares cuz i was pissed and installed everything back, this time nothing is working, grrr! it is worse than before!
now people tell me I need eclcee...well i have installed this eclcee.zip in my cee folder, and now it say "that is not supported" it is not supporting 2.7....
so what should i do, go back with my initial setting and work on this 1/1 pass, which is not working, or kick my laptop through the window??? and start to buy a new one ???seriously? what should i do???

i dont believe 2.7 needs ecl
reinstall dvdrb with the installer and it will install ecl properly if you need it
as for 1/1.. cce does a 1/1 vaf pass and then 1/5 for encoding passes, make sure you are looking at the right thing

First thing, calm down.
Second: You do not need EclCCE for CCE SP 2.70 (if you do not have CCE but CEE instead, the latest is not supported :)). EclCCE is for 2.50 and the trial versions of 2.6x.
Third: If you have the trial version of 2.7, you have to select CCE SP Trial under RB's Options\CCE Options in the RB menu. If not a trila version, you must select CCE SP.
Fourth:Be sure to set the right path to the ccesp.exe in the "Path to CCE SP (new) " box of the Options\Setup
Fifth: Be sure to select the checkbox "Run Encoder minimized" in the same setup window. (Almost sure this was the problem with your first setup)
Good luck

ok, thanks! thats good news to start with...
so i understand i was correct the first time during my initial installation, and i should not to worry about this eclcce.
last night i runed dvd rebuild, and effectively at the begining of the encoding I could see the 2 // blue lines just after the "1/1", so this let me think it s going to encode with 1 pass(when i set 5 pass), so when does it encode for the 2nd, 3 rd, ...pass??
in the morning, i saw my movie was finished in 2 hours and half which let me think that it was encoded in 1 pass only,
so is there a file I missed to install somewhere???
jp theripper, any idea where i should look?
I am reinstalling everything!

if you are encoding there is nothing else to install.
if you only see 1 pass, make sure you are not in opv mode (as this is 1 pass)

ah!
and what is opv mode and where can I set this correctly?
is this in one of the dvd rebuild modes?
i set vrb 5 pass!!!!
edited: I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! reset everything like u said, launched the application and I can see my 1/5, 1/2,...1/5 encoding pass.
what do u suggest me for a newbie like me, 5 pass? I have all night free to encode a DVD.i can go even for 9 -10 hours, I want max quality!
should i use the default setting or mpeg for the matrix?
what is this speed of 2 or 3 written in the cee window?
again, thanks a lot guys!!!!

If speed=1 the movie take as long to encode as the duration of the movie, speed 2 means it encodes in half the time,
