Are There Any Subtitle Programs That Can Auto-Translate?

I have a .SRT sub file that's in Swedish. There's no English subs on the dvd. Can anything translate this?

I'm just guessing since I haven' tried it, but I'll bet if you open the .srt as text and copy/paste it into an online translator it won't mess with the lines for the time, but will translate the text.

I thought about that, but it's not that easy to find a FREE online Swedish to English translation website.

I translate every day english to danish , I translate danish to english at least once a month, I understand (among other things) sweedish, norvegian and french.
I may (I repeat I may) have an english sub for the sweedish movie you are writing about and there is no copyright in my translations ;)

Is there any up-to-date program that does a good job of Swedish to English translation? I'd love to buy this disc (http://www7.cdwow.ie/detail_results_2.php?product_code=1042447&subcat=region2) of "The Emigrants" (Utvandrarna) and try my hand at PAL-to-NTSC conversion, but there's no English subtitle track. :(

Hi. I don't know if my problem is similar to what's being discussed here. I have this "Remember the Titans" DVD without English subtitles. So I made a maximum quality XviD rip (it came to 3.02 GB in AutoGK) and got English subtitles from the net (hoping that's not illegal).

Funnily, the subs read this way:

It probably mean your subtitle is not english, but a non-latin language (chinese for example...). Finding a subtitle file with the right language, and matching your version of the movie can be quite difficult.

And i'm really not sure it's legal, even if you have the original DVD...
