output segmented videos

Hi there,

is it possible with the command-line RealProducer to encode video in segmented files? I don't mean like "stopping after XX min. recording", Producer should run all day and just encode the video in defined segments, e.g. start a new file every 5 minutes or so.

I am not sure I understand the question, but Producer has an option to basically encode 'forever' and create a new output file every so often...

Well, exactly that is the problem: I can archive a file with Producer, but it's only available AFTER I stopped the broadcast. And if the encoder runs 24/7, it's practically never available...
