Hi!

1) Have you first tried using DVD Decrypter ONLY - WITHOUT AnyDVD?

2) Does the original, commercial DVD play on your PC? If not, exchange it for a new one...

Yep the dvd played 100%of the way through in my htpc using theatertek and windows media player... Ill try turning off anydvd but I doubt that will help.. Ill report back soon.

Although I'd opt for exchanging it for a new one, I guess there's the possibility that (even if it's not a SONY product) it contains "ARccOS" copy protection. If so, you might want to do a search for "PSL" and see if you can create a PSL2 file that will enable you to copy the DVD...

Ok now this is strange!! I am ripping it in file mode with default settings (check for structure protection and using SPTI... It is inserting some dummy areas but its ripping! What does this mean... will the rip be ok or... Help Please

It means that the DVD has an older type of "ARccOS" (bad sector) copy protection - that DVD Decrypter CAN process properly.

Just let it finish and you should have a good rip ;>}

Ok so the inserting of Dummy Files is a normal thing?

I'm thinking about buying AnyDVD now. Is there some forms or Arcoss that it can not handle?
