Hi all,

Think this should be a very to easy to answer question for anyone in the know. How can i set the Root and Title Menu settings on a ripped DVD. Just i ripped a DVD used Vob Blanker to get rid of bits then when i use DVD Shrink it sets the Root Menu to the film rather than the options bit at the start so when you load the DVD it goes straight to the film . .
. . . have looked at ifoedit but can't figure out if its what i need or even how it works really . . .

 Thanks in advance to the first right answer.

So are you wanting the DVD to go to the main menu instead of the movie? Your question is a bit unclear to me.

Sorry, yes when the DVD starts i want it to go to the menu rather than the film so i need to reset the root menu option on the disc, but how?

I don't think the poster was using DVD-RB, but I do routinely use PgcEdit after making a DVD-RB backup (and before burning of course), to make the new DVD start with the movie, always. Works great, especially once you get the hang of running PgcEdit's "Jump to PGC" command.

Is this the correct forum? No, it has nothing to do with DVDRB. He also posted over at IFO/VOB editors (where it belongs) and in fact the problem is now solved.
