Hi All,

Some radios offer for download a .rm file of radio shows.
Since I would like to hear those shows on my dap player when
I commute, I need to transcode then in wav format (or mp3).

until now, I was playing the rm file and using audacity records back
and save to wav file (stereo).

I discovered graphedit and succeed to create a graph to convert rm
to wav in a much faster way as there is no need to play the the rm file.
Only problem when I load back the wav file in audacity, it is mono file
(at least there is only one channel). Is there a way for grapedit to
produce a stero wav file ?
If not possible, are there other methods than playing the rm file and
record it back ?

Thanks and regards
Lankou.

merci,

I had all these components but somehow, I made a mistake somewhere
as the wav file was mono. I shall retry.

Is it possibkle that the RM file is actually mono?

Is it possibkle that the RM file is actually mono?

This is possible, but when I play the rm file by realplayer and use
audacity, I get a wav file and the 2 channels are not identical. Now
for sure, I don't know a lot of things in this area. But if the source
was truly a mono source, would I get the 2 channels perfectly
identical ? Since, at least visually, the 2 channels are not identical,
I was led to believe it is stereo. Is my reasoning flawed ?

Thanks,
Lankou.

Looking in the sticky thread, I saw a soft called RM analyzer, I will try
it on my rm file.
