This thread is essentially a continuation of another thread entitled "The best codec for low-bitrate anime content is..."
Now, however, with a newer codec lineup, I believe it needs to be restarted with some newer codecs. The question remains: what is the "best" (according to public opinion) low-bitrate anime codec for low resolution (QVGA) encodes?
However, the conditions have changed. There will be a few conditions applied to some of the codecs in the list.
Bear in mind:
1. The only codecs capable of acheiving full framerate are MPEG-4 ASP codecs, H263, and MSMPG-4(v1,v2,v3).
2. The other 2 (AVC/H.264, Real9/10) can only display video correctly with half of the original framerate (14fps max).
Good luck with the voting.
